I was recently reflecting back to the start of my real estate sales career and I was struck by how much of an advantage I had over other beginning agents. I really gleaned a lot under your initial direction! Learning to keep people on the phone, and understanding the importance of promptly returning calls, seem like obvious skills, but you really drilled those points home. Of course, being new is tough enough, but you made me realize, after all, “They have to like you”. That definitely helped me get a little business going when it wasn’t easy. Of course, you representing Ellen and me on three occasions, helped me to understand the way that you work; that is, efficient, honest and aggressive when needed, and willing to drive 20 miles to the Mall to get some guy’s (mine) initials on a rental property contract on short notice! Point being: Be A Closer! I will never forget that.
